Wilaya ya Lushoto iko katika sehemu ya kaskazini ya Mkoa wa Tanga na iko kati ya mistari ya latiludo 4o 25 '- 4o 55' kusini mwa Ikweta na kati ya mistari ya longitudo 30o 10 '- 38o 35'

Lushoto District is situated in the northern part of Tanga Region it lies within 4o 25’ – 4o 55’ latitude south of Equator and 30o 10’ – 38o 35’ Longitude East of Greenwich. The District has an area of 3,500 km2 and accounts for about 12.8% of Tanga Region.
